(ATS) is looking for a Sr. Production Planner to join our team in Irvine, CA. ATS is a leading provider of massively parallel electronic test systems that includes System Level Test (SLT), burn in and semiconductor/module tests. ATS has an exciting line of high-performance test systems that support the semiconductor industry around the world. This is a unique opportunity for someone who is self-motivated, proactive, hands-on and able to work successfully in a stimulating engineering environment. This key role is based at our Irvine facility (transitioning to new Lake Forest site in November 2022) and is an in-office position (e.g. not WFH). Essential Duties & Responsibilities: • Analyze customer forecasts and purchase patterns to perform optimum inventory planning; manage material requirement planning (MRP) execution in excel and ultimately Rapid Response (Kinaxsis) • Coordinating with Ops PMs to manage customer requirements including factory schedules/production, planning and order integrity by directing manufacturing and logistics to optimize supply chain availability. • Working closely with Program Managers, Engineers, Operations, Supply Chain, and Production in effecting changes to production schedules to ensure that production deadlines are met. • Compiling status and performance reports and submitting them to management in a timely manner. • Coordinating with Production and Engineers to determine BOM inaccuracies and enact hold policy on WIP resulting in rapid resolution and an accurate bill of material record. • Develop and implement inventory plans base on MRP requirements, production, inventory goals and departmental guidelines for assign materials • Developing workflow policies and procedures that improve efficiency without compromising safety or quality • All other duties as assigned. Requirements Requirements, Education & Skills: • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent of 5+ years’ experience in Production Planning, Supply Chain Management, Business Management, or related field is preferred • Experienced using ERP database (Oracle preferred, Rapid Response, other) • Proven experience working as a Production Planner • Familiarity and experience with Bills of Material • Proficiency in all Microsoft Office applications, especially excel • Sound knowledge of material requirements planning (MRP/ERP) and related software • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills • Excellent organizational and time management skills • Effective communication skills • Proven ability to multi-task in a challenging environment • This is an on-site role in our Irvine/Lake Forest Office.
