Aston Carter Loan Servicing Specialist – Hybrid Remote in Indianapolis, Indiana

Will be Hybrid Remote so must be local to the Fishers, IN area! A large well-known Mortgage company is hiring a Document Recovery & Corrections Analyst (Loan Servicing Specialist) to join the team for a direct placement long term position! Job Description: • Supports assigned business unit, in monitoring and analyzing required documents to complete agency/investor mandates to meet SLA. • Maintains relationships with business units and investors. • Must have excellent communication and interpersonal skills, to relay details between internal and external parties. • Conduct deep document research, as needed, with title companies, county clerks, and/or internal FMC departments. • Ability to use independent judgement to manage and interpret investor guidelines to dispute back, where needed. • Review and compare documents to determine errors, based on agency/investor guidelines. • Facilitate and generate reports based on analysis, to show trends and common themes. Qualifications: • Bachelor’s degree in business related field • Three (3) to four (4) years of mortgage experience with processing documents, post closing and title work • Experience as a Underwriter who has experience with Title work and post-closing experience is preferred • Strong knowledge of Agency guidelines, Ginnie Mae, Fannie Mae, Freddie Mac • *If Interested: Please apply and email Derek at Dmautz @astoncarter.com!
