Position Title: Bookkeeper Work Set-up: WFH Schedule: 6am – 3pm PHT Salary: PHP 50,000 to PHP 65,000 Holidays: NSW AU Holidays Our client, ASAP Solutions, is an Australian-based accounting and advisory firm specializing in delivering accurate, efficient, and compliant financial services across various industries, including the NDIS sector. As a Bookkeeper: You will play a vital role in ensuring accurate and timely financial transaction processing, with a strong emphasis on NDIS invoice management. This role requires a detail-oriented and proactive individual capable of handling a high daily volume of invoices while maintaining accuracy and compliance with internal and NDIS-specific financial processes. Your ability to learn quickly, communicate effectively, and maintain consistent accuracy will directly support smoother business operations and reduce financial backlog. A 2-week onboarding and performance trial will be conducted to ensure role alignment and readiness. Your Responsibilities as a Bookkeeper: Invoice and Transaction Management (60%) • Process and manage high volumes of NDIS invoices accurately and efficiently. • Review, match, and record payments and allocations correctly. • Maintain accurate financial data entry and transaction coding. • Communicate with team members for clarifications on invoice discrepancies. • Meet productivity targets (minimum 80% benchmark) while maintaining accuracy. Reconciliation and Recordkeeping (30%) • Perform bank and account reconciliations regularly. • Monitor outstanding invoices and assist in accounts receivable/payable follow-up. • Ensure proper documentation and compliance with internal accounting controls. • Support month-end and year-end closing activities. Reporting and Compliance (10%) • Assist in preparing financial reports and supporting documents for management. • Maintain compliance with NDIS and Australian accounting standards. • Identify and suggest opportunities for process improvement and automation. Qualifications as a Bookkeeper: • Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or Accounts Assistant, ideally within the NDIS or healthcare industry. • Strong knowledge of NDIS billing systems and compliance requirements (preferred). • Proficiency in accounting software (e.g., Xero, MYOB, QuickBooks) and Excel/Google Sheets. • Exceptional attention to detail and commitment to accuracy. • Strong time management and ability to handle high-volume transactions under tight deadlines. • Excellent communication skills, demonstrating responsiveness and professionalism. • Fast learner with the ability to adapt to changing priorities. • Ability to stay composed and maintain accuracy under pressure. • Minimum 2–3 years of relevant bookkeeping or accounting experience Behavioural and Cultural Fit: • Detail-oriented, proactive, and dependable. • Thrives in a fast-paced, high-volume work environment. • Values transparency, responsiveness, and teamwork, supporting a culture of accountability. • Embraces continuous improvement and problem-solving.
