About the Role We are seeking highly motivated and experienced Customer Service and Call Center Representatives to join our team at blithequark. As a Call Center Representative, you will be responsible for handling emergency signals, notifying and verifying alarm signals, and dispatching the proper authorities when necessary. This is a full-time position that offers a competitive starting pay of $17.49 per hour, shift differentials up to $4.00 per hour, and bilingual differentials. Key Responsibilities Handle emergency signals and respond promptly to alarm activations Notify and verify alarm signals to ensure accurate and efficient response Dispatch proper authorities, such as police or fire departments, when necessary Provide exceptional customer service to residential and commercial customers Work effectively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with a high level of attention to detail Collaborate with colleagues to achieve team goals and objectives Essential Qualifications High school diploma or equivalent required Previous customer service experience, preferably in a call center or emergency response environment Weekends, holidays, and overtime flexibility required Computer literacy and proficiency in using software applications and technology systems Ability to commute to our location in Manasquan, NJ, for training and occasional on-site work Preferred Qualifications Bilingual or multilingual skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with diverse customer populations Previous experience in alarm monitoring, emergency response, or a related field Advanced computer skills, including experience with CRM software and technology systems Certifications or training in customer service, emergency response, or a related field Skill and Competency Requirements To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment.
