You will work under direct supervision and be accountable for utilizing Walgreens' solution information passage techniques and rules processes to enter patient and medication data into our systems. Your duties may vary depending on the assigned department. **Key Responsibilities** * Utilize Walgreens' solution information passage techniques and rules processes to enter patient and medication data into our systems. * Handle patient medication requests within HIPAA guidelines and enter refill orders for processing. * Investigate to acquire missing medication data, and decipher clinical abbreviations (SIG codes). * Settle all data entry related to special cases. * Handle correspondence to patients (inbound calls, chats, messages) and settle outbound calls to prescribers and patients as necessary. * Settle Outsider Oddballs by inspecting, gathering data, making revisions, and resubmitting for processing as per individual arrangement requirements. * Settle phone calls to guarantors and others to obtain data, gain abrogate endorsement, or otherwise settle the Outsider Oddballs. * Provide support to Pharmacists, both those in the office and those in other areas. * Identify and communicate issues to senior-level staff as necessary. **Essential Qualifications** * High school diploma or equivalent. * Basic level computer skills (e.g., start and close down computer, use mouse to point and click, start and close programs, switch between programs, save files, print reports, and access data online). * Basic web search skills to include opening a program, typing URLs in the address bar, using a search engine, bookmarking a website, navigating back/forward/stop buttons, and completing forms online. * Middle-level keyboarding skills (at least 25 WPM, typing by memory, organizing files). **Preferred Qualifications** * At least one year of pharmacy professional experience in a retail or call center environment. * At least one and a half years of experience as a pharmacy professional with a license/enrollment by the state as granted by the state Board of Pharmacy or widely recognized certification organization. * Experience providing customer service to internal and external clients, including meeting quality standards for services, and assessment of customer satisfaction. * Middle to advanced-level keyboarding skills (at least 35 WPM, typing by memory, designing documents). * Familiarity with Spanish and English. **Skills and Competencies** * Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. * Strong problem-solving and analytical skills. * Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks effectively. * Proficiency in using computer software and systems. * Strong attention to detail and accuracy. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. **Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits** As a valued member of our team, you will have opportunities for career growth and professional development.
