Job Overview The successful candidate will be responsible for managing and maintaining arenaflex's data storage conditions, ensuring data backups, collaborating with cross-functional teams, and providing ongoing suggestions and best practices to the team. This role requires a deep understanding of enterprise data storage systems, including NAS, SAN, and DAS conditions, as well as the ability to articulate and demonstrate expertise across different platforms. Key Responsibilities Demonstrate a broad understanding of enterprise data storage systems and technologies Implement and maintain enterprise backup and data security technologies Efficiently manage and monitor reporting platforms and software Define and implement trend storage design strategies, based on industry standards and best practices Interface and communicate with application, database, server, and other technology teams on architecture and configuration selection, to ensure suitable storage technology and design Demonstrate strong organizational skills to adapt and prioritize tasks in a continually changing workplace Contribute clear and concise documentation for both routine and irregular tasks Provide technical support and guidance on complex activities like installation, configuration, and backup/restore operations for all systems Perform code updates and security patching to maintain the integrity of storage systems Essential Qualifications To be considered for this role, candidates must have: A Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or a related field (a combination of training, work experience, and education may be considered) At least 3 years of experience in data storage or a related field, with an emphasis on networking and storage protocols Industry knowledge and experience with large-scale SAN design and implementation Proven expertise in enterprise storage administration, with skill in DellEMC, Cisco, and similar OEMs A strong understanding of current and emerging data protection technologies Experience with NAS concepts and protocols (CIFS, NFS, and S3) Knowledge of data synchronization technologies for both SAN and NAS Operating system administration skills (both Linux and Windows) VMWare concepts and administration Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Advanced degree in Computer Science or a related field Additional certifications in data storage or related fields Experience with cloud-based storage solutions Knowledge of artificial intelligence and machine learning concepts Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, candidates must possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work independently and as part of a team Strong organizational and time management skills Ability to adapt to changing priorities and deadlines Proficiency in Microsoft Office and other productivity software Career Growth and Learning Opportunities arenaflex is committed to the growth and development of its employees.
