Our Data Ventures team is at the forefront of this innovation, using cutting-edge data science and analytics to drive business growth and improve customer experiences. **Job Responsibilities** As a Full Stack Data Scientist at blithequark, you'll be responsible for leading the technical aspects of data science initiatives, working closely with cross-functional teams to develop and deploy data-driven solutions. Your primary focus will be on Customer Data Science initiatives, which may be short-term or long-term based on business needs. You'll also mentor junior colleagues and implement best practices throughout the team. **Key Responsibilities:** * **Data Source Identification:** Identify and extract relevant data sources, perform preliminary data quality checks, and review deliverables from junior colleagues. * **Problem Formulation:** Analyze business problems, question assumptions, and recommend solutions to drive business growth. * **Analytical Modeling:** Develop and deploy machine learning models, conduct exploratory data analysis, and identify dimensions and designs of experiments. * **Model Deployment & Scaling:** Work with MLOps to push ML models to production, continuously log and track model performance, and identify areas for improvement. * **Code Development & Testing:** Write code to develop and deploy data-driven solutions, create test cases, and contribute to code documentation. * **Applied Business Acumen:** Evaluate business cases, influence stakeholder decision-making, and translate business needs into data-driven solutions. * **Model Assessment & Validation:** Identify and evaluate model assessment metrics, apply testing and tuning strategies, and ensure testing records are documented. * **Data Visualization and Storytelling:** Develop compelling stories based on data insights, create graphical representations of data, and present to various audiences. **What You'll Bring:** * Bachelor's degree in Statistics, Economics, Analytics, Mathematics, Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field. * 4+ years of experience in an analytics-related field, with a strong background in machine learning, statistics, and data science. * Strong programming skills in Python or R, with experience in data visualization tools like Tableau or Power BI. * Ability to execute projects end-to-end, implement best practices in ML Ops, and clearly communicate with business, product, and application partners. * Ability to translate complex algorithm evaluations into easy-to-understand language and present to management and external clients. **What We Offer:** * Competitive salary range: $30-40/hour * Multiple health plan options, including vision and dental plans for you and your dependents * Financial benefits, including 401(k), stock buy plans, life insurance, and more * Associate discounts in-store and online * Education assistance for associates and dependents * Parental leave * Pay during military service * Paid Time Off, including vacation, sick, parental leave * Short-term and long-term disability for when you can't work due to injury, illness, or childbirth **About Our Team:** Our Data Ventures team is a dynamic and innovative group of data scientists, engineers, and analysts who are passionate about using data to drive business growth and improve customer experiences.
