As a work-from-home opportunity, this role offers the flexibility and autonomy to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being part of a dynamic and collaborative team. **Key Responsibilities** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative, your key responsibilities will include: * Contacting policyholders from our existing book of business via inbound/outbound telephone calls, direct mail, and email to review policies prior to renewal * Reviewing and updating policies to enhance retention and better meet the needs of customers * Counseling customers on appropriate coverage, policy limits, payment options, and state laws to best meet their needs for sufficient protection against risks covered by property and casualty insurance * Making recommendations and/or changes to policies and gaining customer acceptance to process the changes * Receiving and responding to calls and emails received by the insurance service center, documenting all activity in EPIC * Utilizing knowledge of the insurance industry and club insurance agency policies and procedures to provide efficient and professional customer service * Providing quotes on endorsements as requested * Identifying opportunities to apply discounts, processing insurance verification forms for insured, and acting as liaison for information exchange between customers and insurance companies * Processing changes to policies within EPIC and submitting changes to specific companies, following up with the company to ensure change requests have been processed in a timely manner * Reviewing policy information and referencing company-specific claims procedures to assist insured in filing claims * Mailing insured documentation to be signed and returned as necessary, following up to ensure documentation has been returned in a timely manner from member/customer * Recognizing cross-sell opportunities (membership and insurance) and obtaining quote information * Performing other duties as assigned **What We Offer** As an Experienced Insurance Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you can expect a competitive hourly rate, depending on experience and salary zone, as well as a comprehensive benefits package, including: * Eligibility for Annual Merit Increase * Comprehensive Health benefits package, including Paid Time Off (accruals begin on first day of employment), 401(k) plan with a company match, Medical, Dental, Prescription, and Vision Coverage, Tuition Reimbursement, Life Insurance, and Flexible Spending Accounts * Nearly 4 weeks of paid time off accrued during the first year * Paid time off to volunteer * Tuition reimbursement * 401(K) plan with company match up to 7% * Free AAA Premier Battery Membership **What We Need from You** To be successful in this role, you will need: * A high school diploma or equivalent and 3+ years of increasingly complex customer service experience in an insurance environment * A Property and Casualty insurance license required * Membership license preferred and/or ability to obtain within 90 days of employment **Why Join blithequark?** At blithequark, we are committed to fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace culture, where our team members feel valued, supported, and empowered to succeed.
