As a remote employee, you will have the flexibility to work from the comfort of your own home, while still being an integral part of our dynamic team. **Schedule and Work Environment** As a Part-Time Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will work 34 hours per week, Monday through Friday, with flexible hours between 8am and 4:30pm CST. This role is fully remote, allowing you to work from anywhere with a stable internet connection. Our team is committed to providing a supportive and inclusive work environment, where you can thrive and grow in your career. **Responsibilities** As a Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, your primary responsibilities will include: * Accurately entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests submitted by healthcare providers * Entering data from insurance claims and/or authorization requests expediently and efficiently to meet client turnaround times * Navigating efficiently and effectively through the imaging software to retrieve claims and authorizations for data entry * Differentiating between different claim types and following the appropriate data entry guidelines * Accurately identifying specific document types that require special handling * Working collaboratively with other team members to ensure that work is completed in accordance with designated turnaround times * Supporting additional workflows as needed due to internal or external requirements **Additional Responsibilities** In addition to your primary responsibilities, you will also be expected to: * Perform quality review of other team members' claims/authorizations according to established data entry guidelines * Contribute to the team effort by accomplishing additional responsibilities as needed * Alert management of potential issues upon identification of discrepancies * Provide recommendations on process improvements to increase efficiencies as appropriate **Qualifications** To be a successful Data Entry Claims Intake Processor, you will need to possess the following qualifications: * **Required Level of Education, Licenses, and/or Certificates** + High school diploma or equivalent * **Required Level of Experience** + 6 months or more years of experience in data entry or typing-focused role * **Required Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities** + Strong data entry/typing skills + Excellent attention to detail + High degree of accuracy + Ability to work independently and collaboratively as part of a team + Strong communication and problem-solving skills **Assessment and Selection Process** If you are selected for further consideration, you will be required to complete an online alphanumeric data entry assessment. This assessment will evaluate your data entry skills and accuracy, and will be used to determine your eligibility for the position.
