About the position Provide observations and interpretation of data compiled from a variety of sources including: scorecards, operational metrics and statistics, general ledger and payroll. Support Vizient hospital benchmarking efforts across multiple hospital sites as well as participate in identification and implementation of improvement efforts with operational leaders. Participate in data collection from multiple sources and submit to the operational database. Meet with department operational leaders to educate on benchmarking, review inputs and interpret quarterly results. Produce management reports and senior leader presentations of benchmarking results. Participate in ad hoc projects for hospital financial improvements. Requirements • A minimum of 1 year of experience in financial analysis or healthcare environment is required. • Bachelor's degree is required. Nice-to-haves • Understands the technical aspects and interfaces between General Accounting, Managed Care, Reimbursement, Patient Accounting, Patient Services, Financial Planning, and Information Systems as it relates to the job functions, preferred.
