Employer Industry: Cultural Resource Preservation Why consider this job opportunity: - Salary up to $4,653.00 monthly - Flexible hybrid work schedule with the option to telework - Opportunity for career advancement and growth within the organization - Comprehensive benefits package including medical, dental, and retirement plans - Chance to contribute to the preservation of cultural and historic resources in Washington State - Supportive and collaborative work environment promoting teamwork and inclusion What to Expect (Job Responsibilities): - Perform specialized technical duties in support of GIS Program activities, including GIS data implementation and assessment - Review and assess archaeological and historic property inventories against agency reporting standards - Compose correspondence and informational materials regarding assigned GIS projects and operations - Compile and distribute information related to program activities and collaborate with stakeholders - Maintain and monitor assigned GIS projects, informing supervisors of status and progress What is Required (Qualifications): - High school graduation or equivalent - Two years of full-time experience reviewing, updating, and maintaining electronic records, or equivalent education/experience - Ability to independently manage time, priorities, and resources to achieve goals - Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail - Excellent written and verbal communication skills How to Stand Out (Preferred Qualifications): - One year of experience in GIS - Knowledge of laws related to archaeology and historic preservation, including the National Historic Preservation Act and others - Familiarity with geospatial database software and graphics desktop publishing software - Experience working with diverse stakeholders and community engagement - Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion in the workplace #CulturalResourcePreservation #GIS #HistoricPreservation #CareerOpportunity #HybridWork "We prioritize candidate privacy and champion equal-opportunity employment.
