The State of Montana's Department of Public Health and Human Services (DPHHS) is seeking an IT Systems Support 1 to provide technical support within the Technology and Services Division. The role involves assisting various stakeholders with technical issues and ensuring effective documentation of support requests. Responsibilities Provide first and second level technical support and advice to employees, contractors, providers, tribal agencies, state and local municipalities, and law enforcement Answer support requests through a help desk line, email messages, online submissions, etc Resolve technical problems for end users Document support calls including basic network incidents Skills Knowledge of Microsoft Office applications, Microsoft Operating Systems, personal computers and peripherals Ability to perform software and hardware troubleshooting Excellent customer service, patience, and interpersonal skills Bachelor's degree in computer science or related technology field Experience with help desk operations and technical support are preferred Other combinations of education and experience may be considered on a case-by-case basis Benefits Health Insurance Paid Leave & Holidays Retirement Plan Company Overview State of Montana has a desire to cultivate a workforce consistently able to respond to challenges facing Montana.
