Registered Nurse (RN) - Infusion Therapy (Days) Towson
Under general supervision and in consultation with the responsible medical oncologist and/or advanced practitioner, is responsible for coordinating, managing and communicating the plan of treatment to patients and their families. Specifically, the nurse assists in communications with patients, triages patients and patient issues, performs symptom management and teaches patients regarding their disease process and treatment. Candidates may request off the equivalent of 1 week of their contracted hours. For a candidate who is contracted for 36 hours a week; they may request 36 hours off. This can be done in up to a 7-day time block (1 week) or a total of 36 hours if the dates requested off are separate. A candidate contracted for 40 hours/week would be able to request off 40 hours.
Candidates will be considered for orientations scheduled up to 6 weeks out. RN and CNA orientations are held every other week on Tuesday and Wednesday
