Job Summary:
We are seeking a talented and creative Photo Editor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a keen eye for detail, excellent editing skills, and a passion for visual storytelling. As a Photo Editor, you will be responsible for enhancing and transforming raw images to meet the needs of our brand, clients, or project specifications, ensuring high-quality visual content across various platforms.
This is a part time role for about 10 hours per week.
Key Responsibilities:
? Edit, retouch, and enhance photographs to meet company standards and client requirements.
? Collaborate with photographers, designers, and other creative team members to ensure visual consistency.
? Adjust lighting, color, and composition to create aesthetically pleasing and accurate final images.
? Crop, resize, and format images for web, print, and social media use.
? Maintain image organization, archiving, and file management processes.
? Review and ensure all final images align with brand style guides and project deadlines.
? Stay updated with the latest editing techniques, software updates, and photography trends.
? Handle feedback and revisions in a professional and timely manner.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
? Proven experience as a Photo Editor, Photographer, or similar role.
? Proficiency in Adobe Photoshop, Lightroom, and other photo editing software.
? Strong understanding of color correction, retouching, and image enhancement.
? Excellent attention to detail and ability to produce polished final images.
? Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
? Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
? Creative mindset with a keen eye for visual aesthetics.
? Familiarity with different file formats and understanding of their use cases.
Preferred Qualifications:
? Experience with video editing or motion graphics.
? Familiarity with other creative software like Adobe Illustrator, InDesign, or Premiere Pro.
? Knowledge of photography lighting setups and camera equipment.
? Previous experience working in a studio, agency, or digital media environment.
