Key Responsibilities: ? Implement individualized behavior intervention plans (BIPs) under the supervision of a Board Certified Behavior Analyst (BCBA). ? Collect and record data on student behavior and progress. ? Provide direct one-on-one or small group interventions to students with behavioral needs. ? Assist in the development of social skills and appropriate behavior in students. ? Collaborate with teachers, school staff, and parents to ensure consistency in behavior management. ? Participate in team meetings, training sessions, and ongoing professional development. ? Support classroom activities as needed, helping to create a positive learning environment.
Requirements: ? Must hold an active Registered Behavior Technician (RBT) certification. ? High school diploma or equivalent; additional coursework in psychology, education, or a related field is preferred. ? Understanding of Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) principles and techniques. ? Excellent communication and interpersonal skills. ? Ability to work effectively in a team and take direction from a BCBA. ? Must meet all local and state requirements for RBTs in Colorado, including background checks and relevant certifications.
