This role requires a strong customer service mindset, excellent organizational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively with a diverse group of individuals. Provide exceptional customer service to all library patrons, including students, faculty, and staff, by responding to inquiries and assisting with research needs. Maintain accurate and organized records of library materials, including cataloging, shelving, and inventory management. Collaborate with other library staff to develop and implement efficient processes and procedures for the organization and maintenance of library materials. Assist with the creation and implementation of library programs and events to promote resources and services to the university community. Utilize technology, including library databases and software, to assist patrons with research and information needs. Maintain a thorough understanding of library policies and procedures and effectively communicate them to patrons. Provide support to patrons in the use of library equipment and technology, including printers, computers, and audiovisual equipment. Train and supervise student workers and volunteers, delegating tasks and ensuring quality of work. Contribute to the development and maintenance of the library's online presence, including social media and website content.
