Microsoft Fabric Consultant (Architect/Engineer)

Location: Remote (India candidates only) Contract Type: Contract / Consulting Engagement Experience: 6–12 Years (Depending on Role Level – Architect/Engineer) No Agency. About the Role We are looking for highly skilled Microsoft Fabric Consultants to support two major initiatives: IBP: Automated disaggregation of SAP IBP data for long-term planning (S&OP). PCF: Enhancement of existing Fabric solutions to integrate SAP and other data sources, alongside automation of data transformation processes. This role requires a strong technical background in Microsoft Fabric, data engineering, and enterprise data integration. Key Responsibilities For Architect-Level Consultants: Design and architect end-to-end Microsoft Fabric solutions. Develop scalable frameworks for data ingestion, transformation, and consumption. Lead capacity planning, performance tuning, and governance. Enable advanced analytics and ML capabilities where applicable. Work closely with PMO, internal teams, and business stakeholders. For Engineer-Level Consultants: Implement robust data pipelines and transformation workflows. Build and optimize semantic models and datasets. Develop Data Factory pipelines, Dataflows, Notebooks, and other Fabric workloads. Automate data ingestion from SAP (BW/HANA), SQL, REST APIs, and other sources. Ensure operational readiness and smooth handover. Core Technical Requirements Microsoft Fabric Expertise: Hands-on experience with Pipelines, Data Factory, Dataflows, Notebooks, Lakehouses, Warehouses, and Semantic Models. Power BI Proficiency: Strong in PowerQuery, DAX, data modeling, and report development. Data Integration: Experience integrating SAP BW/HANA data and other enterprise data sources. DevOps & CI/CD: Knowledge of Git, Azure DevOps, and automated deployment pipelines. Security & Governance: Understanding of data security, compliance, and governance frameworks. Preferred Qualifications Microsoft Certifications: PL-300, DP-600, DP-700, DP-100, or similar Azure/Fabric certifications. Experience with Python, PySpark, Spark SQL, KQL, Delta Lake.
