ONLINE CONTENT EDITOR

Healio is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Online Content Editor (OCE) to contribute to our high-quality news coverage for a physician audience. OCE responsibilities include: • writing news content; • developing strong relationships and collaborating with key opinion leaders; • tracking analytics; • posting content online and maintaining the website; • handling social media; • curating and producing email newsletters; and • traveling to and reporting from major medical conferences. Qualified candidates must have: • a bachelor’s degree in Journalism, English, Communications or a related field; • writing experience and demonstrated good writing ability; • ability to multitask and meet tight deadlines; • a desire to work within a fast-paced news environment with a dedicated team of writers and editors; and • willingness to travel. Ideal candidates will have experience with health care communications. Experience covering breaking news, particularly in medicine or health care, preferred. Position requires travel. The annual base salary for this position is $50,000 to $63,000. Placement within this range is determined by a variety of factors, including but not limited to, knowledge, skills, education, years and level of experience and equity with internal team members. Employees living within a 50-mile radius will be scheduled to work two days per week in our Thorofare NJ location. Remote applicants will be considered.
