Oracle EBS Techno-Functional Consultant Remote 06+ months contract We are seeking a highly skilled Techno-Functional Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS) Consultant with deep table-level knowledge of Order-to-Cash (O2C), Procure-to-Pay (P2P), and Services (primary) and Inventory/Install Base (secondary). The ideal candidate will have the ability to work closely with business stakeholders to gather reporting requirements, translate them into functional designs, and support testing cycles. This role focuses on reporting and data integration, specifically bringing data from Oracle E-Business Suite into Microsoft Fabric and Power BI using a star schema data model. Key Responsibilities Reporting & Functional Design Collaborate with business users to analyze and capture reporting requirements across O2C, P2P, Services, and Inventory domains. Prepare Functional Design Documents (FDDs) for BI reports, ensuring alignment with business needs and technical feasibility. Map reporting requirements to EBS table structures, ensuring accuracy and completeness of source-to-target mapping. Define data extraction strategies from EBS tables to feed Microsoft Fabric/Power BI . Data Integration & Testing Support the data integration process from Oracle EBS to Microsoft Fabric and Power BI via star schema models. Partner with data engineers and BI developers to validate the star schema design and ensure proper joins, dimensions, and facts. Conduct testing of BI reports, validating accuracy of data against EBS source tables. Troubleshoot issues related to data mappings, report accuracy, and performance. Client & Team Collaboration Work closely with business stakeholders, BI developers, and data integration teams to ensure seamless delivery of reports. Provide table-level insights and act as the subject matter expert for Oracle EBS data models. Document requirements, design specifications, test cases, and issue logs for reporting deliverables. Qualifications Bachelor s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field. 10+ years of experience as an Oracle E-Business Suite Techno-Functional Consultant. Strong table-level knowledge in O2C, P2P, Services (primary), and Inventory/Install Base (secondary). Proven ability to prepare functional design documents (FDDs) for BI/reporting requirements. Experience with BI reporting, testing, and validation. Familiarity with Microsoft Fabric, Power BI, and star schema modeling (preferred). Strong SQL/PLSQL skills for table-level data analysis and troubleshooting. Excellent communication and documentation skills. Desired Qualifications Prior experience on reporting/data warehouse projects integrating Oracle EBS with modern BI platforms. Knowledge of Oracle Fusion Cloud SCM/Service modules is a plus. Exposure to ETL tools, data modeling, or data engineering concepts.
