The Technician’s responsibility is to observe and report high risk behaviors that may interrupt medically necessary therapies as well as patient safety and/or perceived changes in the patient’s condition to appropriate health care team members. Responsible for documenting the observed behaviors and need for redirection. The Technician will function under the direction of the Program Manager and/or Team Coordinator. Focused on promoting positive patient experience by partnering with the patient’s family, and other care providers to provide an excellent patient experience. Will perform under stressful conditions with compassion, respect to ensure patient privacy and dignity as appropriate. Competencies/ Job Duties: • Demonstrates understanding and proficiency with the Remote Patient Monitoring Software System • Maintains visual observation of assigned patients at all times. Immediately summons the nursing staff if the patient requires assistance. • Demonstrates the knowledge and skill necessary to provide appropriate observation of the patient population assigned. • Participates in reports with on-coming and departing staff members.
