Performance Assurance Analyst - Property Claims (Part Time Opportunity)

As a Performance Assurance Analyst in Property Claims, you will play a crucial role in maintaining the quality of our claims handling processes. This part-time opportunity involves performing comprehensive reviews on personal and commercial lines claims, which can reach up to approximately $300,000 in severity. Your work will ensure that our adjusters' claim files comply with specific client handling guidelines and company standards, ultimately delivering the highest quality of work to our clients. In this position, you will execute the quality assurance program by completing quality reviews of claim files using industry-standard tools such as Xactimate and Symbility. You will interpret policy and client guidelines to ensure compliance, guiding field colleagues on necessary revisions. Your ability to document review findings accurately and identify training opportunities will be essential in enhancing our team's performance. You will also coordinate with the Analyst Team to implement Sedgwick's business unit and national quality initiatives, contributing to the overall success of our operations. This role requires a strong foundation in claims handling and file review practices, along with excellent communication and analytical skills. You will be expected to maintain technical expertise in claims handling and estimating, ensuring that you are well-equipped to support your colleagues and meet established operational requirements. Responsibilities • Performs comprehensive reviews on personal and commercial lines claims to ensure quality work product delivery. , • Executes the quality assurance program by completing quality reviews of claim files using Xactimate and Symbility. , • Interprets policy and client guidelines to ensure compliance with claims handling standards. , • Guides field colleagues on necessary revisions to meet client guidelines and company standards. , • Documents review findings in accordance with team processes. , • Identifies training and improvement opportunities for the Team Lead. , • Coordinates with the Analyst Team to implement quality initiatives at the local and/or SBU level. , • Provides feedback to the Team Lead for performance management review meetings and group training. Requirements • Bachelor's degree from an accredited college or university preferred. , • Must be eligible to be a licensed All-Lines adjuster. , • Five years of related experience, including three years of claims handling at an advanced technical level. , • Strong knowledge of claims handling and file review practices and procedures. , • Proficient in electronic estimating using Xactimate or Symbility. , • Excellent oral and written communication skills, including presentation skills. , • PC literate, including Microsoft Office products and digital resources. , • Analytical and interpretive skills with strong organizational abilities. , • Self-motivated with the ability to thrive in a remote work environment. Nice-to-haves • Completion of industry-related training course(s) preferred. , • Ability to learn how to navigate virtual meeting and collaboration applications.
