Aufgaben Your tasks – this is what awaits you in detail You work in a collaborative environment where you develop scalable and robust backend solutions for our Kaufland Marketplaces and internal services You take ownership of end-to-end feature development, from designing and coding to testing, deployment, and monitoring in production environments You write clean, maintainable, and high-performance code while adhering to best practices Together with your experienced team, you tackle challenges and look for ways to improve existing procedures and processes Profil Your profile – this is what we expect from you You have an educational level that corresponds to completed university studies in (business) information technology, (business) engineering, mathematics or physics, or you have comparable practical experience You have successfully built several PHP backends in mid to large scale software projects Solid understanding of APIs, databases and messaging brokers and familiarity with containerization technologies like Docker You have the drive to continuously develop both yourself and your team further in order to become a little bit better every day Passion for what you do and a strong interest in current e-commerce trends and developments You have excellent communication skills, are willing to embrace our company culture and values and enjoy working in an international, English-speaking team Benefits What we offer Create your own work-life balance : You have the flexibility to choose between working remotely (within Germany) or from one of our locations in Cologne, Darmstadt, Düsseldorf, or our co-working space in Berlin!
