Job Description: REMOTE TYPE: Office Worker: In office position with work from home allowed, i.e. flex or hybrid worker JOB LOCATION: 300 Northpoint Parkway, Alpharetta, GA 30005 DUTIES: Responsible for database and ERP (enterprise resource planning) applications such as Oracle E-Business suite, middleware configuration, reliability, recoverability, performance, and the installation, maintenance, and upgrade of database and ERP software and related components. Provide operational database support for databases on hybrid cloud environment and many different RDBMS (relational database management systems) software levels and versions, utilizing a wide variety of RDBMS features, on many different operating system platforms for applications of differing complexities, disaster priority, mission critical designation, strategic initiatives, degree of standardization, practices, and usage of third-party software. Implement Best Practices for Oracle Exadata platform and oracle autonomous databases in cloud. Setup data replication using Golden Gate for databases on hybrid cloud environment. Migrate databases to cloud platforms (e.g., OCI (oracle cloud infrastructure) and Azure) from on-premises. Perform advanced featured databases for complex environments for high priority applications. Provide availability, performance, concurrency, integrity, security, and confidentiality of the database instances, database backups and recoveries, database disaster recovery, data replication, database growth and disk space utilization, database problem analysis and resolution, configuration files, operating system account and system level schemas, tablespaces, database patches, database upgrades, database compatibilities, database bugs and workarounds, database vendor support process, database documentation, new database release features and enhancements, special features associated with the physical RDBMS (such as real application clusters), applications consultation, SQL tuning and object management, automation, and project implementation activities, such as physical design and installation of database environments and database. Implement encryption using TDE(transparent data encryption), setup and manage database vault and manage SSL (secure socket layer) certificates. Design and implement audit features in autonomous databases using DataSafe. Administer OCI services such as object storage, compute instance, application integration, API (application programming interface), and APEX (application express).Responsible for project design and estimating, RDBMS product certification, RDBMS product or feature subject matter expert/point of contact consultation, direction and guidance regarding database management system features, best practices development and implementation, and standards development and implementation. Implement standards for database security such as FIM (file integrity management), SOD (segregation of duties) and user access management. REQUIREMENTS: Requires a Bachelor’s degree, or foreign equivalent degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or Computer Engineering and 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in the job offered or 5 Years of progressive, post-baccalaureate experience in a related occupation with experience in Public Cloud platforms; Oracle Cloud Technology as Cloud Infrastructure Operations/Admin; Azure Public Cloud experience; experience working with Linux Operating System; experience in Administrating PaaS Services like Golden Gate, ATP, ADW, and Fusion ERP Services; provisioning Oracle ATP & ADW Autonomous Data Guard; and usage Monitoring of OCI Services.
