Job Title: Civil Engineer Job Description We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Civil Engineer to lead and coordinate the planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects across a variety of market sectors. In this role, you will be instrumental in mentoring staff, driving technical excellence, and fostering client relationships. You will be joining a passionate, collaborative team dedicated to high-impact projects in healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial, office, retail, mixed-use, and more. Responsibilities Lead and coordinate planning, design, and permitting of land development and infrastructure projects. Mentor and motivate civil design teams, fostering a culture of technical excellence. Develop and manage client relationships, generating new business opportunities. Ensure project success from concept through construction documentation. Collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects, providing leadership and expertise. Perform stormwater design, hydrologic/hydraulic modeling, and technical preparation. Draft and manage site plans using AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Prepare technical and proposal writing with excellent communication skills. Essential Skills Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. Valid Professional Engineer (PE) license or scheduled to take the exam soon (EIT required). Minimum 6 years of experience in site/civil land development. Proficiency in AutoCAD and Civil 3D. Strong technical experience in site layout, grading, drainage, infrastructure, and erosion control. Familiarity with local, city, county, and state land use regulations. Ability to collaborate on multi-disciplinary projects. Excellent verbal and written communication skills. Additional Skills & Qualifications Experience in one or more sectors: healthcare, higher education, distribution, K-12, commercial, office, retail, mixed-use. Leadership skills with a proven track record of mentoring teams. Strong interpersonal skills for working with clients, colleagues, and regulatory agencies. Detail-oriented with sound analytical and decision-making abilities. Reliable transportation and a valid driver's license for site visits and client meetings. Work Environment This is a hybrid role, with a 3/2 office-to-home ratio, at a top 50 engineering company known for its multidisciplinary approach. With over 40 office locations and a 50+ year history, there is ample room for growth and opportunities to study under PE, Principals, and PMs. The company boasts its own training programs across technical skillsets and software, including OSHA and other certification training. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Bellevue, Washington. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $90000.00 - $133000.00/yr.
