Python Developer - AWS, Kinesis, RDS WHAT YOU WILL BRING (Must Have) • 3-6 years developing solutions across multiple architecture domains (application, data, integration, infrastructure and security) involving multiple of the following technologies and architecture styles: Data Warehourse, Datalake, APIs, integration/middleware, mobile, web technologies, and service-oriented architecture. • 4+ years of Programing experience and fluent in Python. • 4+ years of solid experience in AWS technologies such as Redshift, Dynamo DB, EMR, EC2, S3, Lambda, Step Functions, Event Bridge, RDS, IAM, , Kubernetes. • 4+ years of experience in developing SQL, DBMS experience on any recognized database (Redshift, DynamoDB, Oracle, MySQL, Postgres). • Working knowledge of Cloud Formation, CloudWatch, and Kinesis. • Knowledgeable about DevOps and CI/CD best practices. • Proficient with source control repository such as GitHub, GitLab. • Strong Agile software development experience, familiar with Scrum and Kanban, using tools such as JIRA, Confluence, Sharepoint. • Exceptional communication skills in incident responses with both internal and external stakeholders. WHAT WILL SET YOU APART: • 2+ year Experience with AWS technologies such as QuickSight and Kinesis. • 2 years IT in financial or other highly regulated industry. • Hands on experience running production workloads on AWS cloud services. • Experience with incident management in a critical customer facing environment. • Working knowledge of APM and/or system monitoring suites such as AppDynamics, Splunk, and/or CloudWatch. • Comfortable with Linux, UNIX, and Windows based OS • Understand how to build secure, performant, reliable and durable systems/architecture. • Security minded with an interest in protecting systems and infrastructure. • Occasional overtime and weekend work is required.
