Position: Remote AI Engineer & Researcher — Next-Gen TTS & UX Overview The mission of Speechify is to make sure that reading is never a barrier to learning. Speechify’s products turn PDFs, books, Google Docs, news articles, and websites into audio so people can read faster, read more, and remember more. Our text-to-speech products include iOS, Android, Mac, Chrome Extension, and Web App. Speechify has been recognized by Google as Chrome Extension of the Year and by Apple as App of the Day. Today, nearly 200 people work globally in a 100% distributed setting — Speechify has no office. Our team includes frontend and backend engineers, AI research scientists, and others from leading tech companies and startups. This is a key role for someone who thinks strategically, enjoys fast-paced environments, and is passionate about making product decisions with a focus on great user experiences.
