Job Title: Civil EngineerJob Description Join a dynamic and innovative civil engineering firm dedicated to innovation, sustainability, and impactful community development. As a Civil Engineer, you will be instrumental in designing and managing land development projects across industrial, commercial, and residential sites. Your work will emphasize compliance with engineering standards and client objectives while integrating sustainable practices. Responsibilities • Design and develop site plans using AutoCAD Civil 3D for various land development projects. • Perform hydraulic modeling for water and sewer systems, including static and extended period simulations. • Plan and design stormwater management systems, grading, and erosion control measures. • Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams to deliver projects on time and within budget. • Prepare technical reports, plans, and cost estimates for projects. • Integrate sustainable practices into designs to minimize environmental impact. Essential Skills • Bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering or a related discipline. • 2-5+ years of civil engineering experience within site development projects. • Proficiency with AutoCAD Civil 3D. • Experience in stormwater management design, site grading, and erosion control. • Strong communication skills, initiative, and reliability. Additional Skills & Qualifications • EIT Certification or PE License is preferred but not required. • Experience with drainage design, land development, and storm drain systems. Job Type & Location This is a Contract position based out of Herndon, VA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $80000.00 - $120000.00/hr.
