[Remote] Credit Analyst - Property & Private Lending

BruntWork is a company in the property and real estate industry, seeking a Credit Analyst to conduct financial and risk analysis for diverse lending portfolios. The role involves evaluating borrower capacity and preparing credit submissions, ideal for detail-oriented professionals eager to enhance their skills in private lending. Responsibilities • Review and analyze loan applications, borrower financials, statements, credit reports, and supporting documentation • Conduct property research, valuation reviews, feasibility checks, and market analysis • Prepare credit papers, risk assessments, and recommendations for the Head of Credit • Assist with structuring deals in line with lending criteria and risk appetite • Liaise with brokers, borrowers, valuers, and internal teams to collect information and manage application flow • Maintain accurate records and ensure all files meet compliance and documentation standards • Support portfolio monitoring, including covenant checks and identifying early risk indicators • Contribute to the continuous improvement of credit processes and workflow efficiency Skills • 1–4+ years’ experience in credit analysis, credit support, lending operations, or financial analysis • Strong analytical skills with the ability to interpret financial statements and assess risk • Understanding of property-backed lending, SME finance, or residential/commercial lending (or a strong willingness to learn) • High attention to detail and excellent organizational skills • Strong written and verbal communication abilities • Proficiency in Excel and familiarity with CRM or lending systems • Experience in private lending, non-bank lending, mortgage broking, or commercial banking • Exposure to bridging, development, or asset-backed lending • Tertiary qualifications in finance, accounting, or a related field Benefits • HMO Coverage for eligible locations • Permanent work-from-home • Immediate hiring Company Overview • BruntWork builds bolthires-effective, efficient and scalable operational teams for businesses wanting to grow fast and effectively.
