[Remote] Sr. Director/Vice President, Chief of Staff & Head of Strategy

Actithera is an emerging leader in radiopharmaceutical therapeutics, advancing a differentiated platform to address high-value oncology targets. They are seeking a highly strategic and versatile leader to serve as Chief of Staff & Head of Strategy, partnering with the CEO to define and execute R&D, clinical, and business development strategies while ensuring operational execution of key initiatives. Responsibilities • Act as a thought partner to the CEO and leadership team in shaping corporate, R&D, clinical, and BD strategies. • Drive strategic planning processes, including portfolio prioritization and clinical development roadmaps. • Lead competitive intelligence and market landscape assessments to inform decision-making. • Coordinate and prepare materials for Board meetings, investor communications, and external partnerships. • Translate strategic objectives into actionable plans with clear milestones, KPIs, and accountability. • Manage cross-functional initiatives spanning R&D, clinical, operations, and BD to ensure alignment and timely execution. • Coordinate activities with legal and financial functions, ensuring compliance, effective contracting, and efficient governance. • Play a key role in budgeting, forecasting, and resource allocation, working closely with finance to align plans with strategy. • Establish efficient operating rhythms (executive meetings, leadership offsites, board prep, investor updates). • Identify operational bottlenecks and implement solutions to improve efficiency across the organization. • Serve as a connector across teams, ensuring seamless communication and collaboration. Skills • 10+ years of experience, including top-tier consulting, investment banking, or corporate strategy roles, combined with operational exposure in pharma or better biotech. • Deep knowledge of the oncology drug discovery and development landscape, including preclinical through clinical stages, regulatory pathways, and market dynamics. • Demonstrated success in both strategy development and operational execution within a life sciences context. • Strong understanding of drug development (preclinical through clinical) and oncology market dynamics. • Experience collaborating with legal and finance functions, with a solid grasp of budgeting and financial planning processes. • Exceptional organizational and communication skills; able to manage complex initiatives and influence at all levels. • Comfortable working in a dynamic, fast-paced biotech startup environment with a hands-on approach. Education Requirements • Advanced degree required: PhD in Biology, Chemistry, Pharmacology, or related discipline; MBA strongly preferred (PhD + MBA ideal).
