Job Title: Systems Architect Job Description Join our dynamic team as a Systems Architect, where you will contribute to the development of software and hardware solutions for functional and diagnostic testing of communication electronic assemblies. Your role will involve capturing customer requirements and defining automated test scenarios. This position demands a strong understanding of both hardware and software testing principles, a proficiency in automation tools and frameworks, and a passion for solving complex problems. Responsibilities + Analyze technical OEM documentation, schematics, and UUT behavior to determine test requirements. + Design physical interface connections and generate electrical schematics or wire lists. + Assist in the procurement of necessary components and materials. + Develop automated test programs to apply stimuli and measure outputs from the UUT. + Utilize revision control software for all source and document data. + Perform debugging and troubleshooting to resolve failure conditions during development. + Execute manual and automated tests to verify product functionality, performance, and reliability. + Analyze test results and identify the root cause of failures. + Occasionally interface with customers to ensure requirements are met. Essential Skills + 10 years of experience in software development and writing automated test programs. + Proficiency in reading and understanding electronic schematics and assembly drawings. + Knowledge of basic electronic components and operations based on component datasheets. + Strong analytical reasoning and problem-solving skills with experience in root cause analysis. + Understanding of RF parametric measurement principles. + Programming experience in C#, C++, Python, or similar object-oriented languages. + Familiarity with test equipment such as RF spectrum analyzers, RF generators, RF receivers, oscilloscopes, and multimeters. + Bachelor's degree in Computer Engineering, Electrical Engineering, or a related field. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in tactical or airborne radios. + Proficiency in MATLAB and LabVIEW. + Extensive experience with RF test equipment. + Knowledge of RF measurements and modern software-defined architectures. + Ability to develop comprehensive documentation, including test requirements and validation reports. + Familiarity with writing programs to remotely set up radios and measurements in C#. + Understanding of RF transmitter/receiver functions such as power, modulation, sensitivity, selectivity, and frequency. Work Environment This position operates on a 9/80 schedule. The work involves travel and customer interactions as required. The team focuses on radio test equipment primarily for military support, utilizing technologies such as spectrum analyzers, oscilloscopes, multimeters, and RF/signal generators. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Orlando, FL. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $135000.00 - $150000.00/yr.
