The SAP MM/PP Analyst is responsible for the design, configuration, implementation, and support of SAP Materials Management (MM) and Production Planning (PP) modules. This role ensures that SAP solutions align with business processes in manufacturing, production planning and detailed scheduling including related master data. The analyst will collaborate with cross-functional teams to optimize operations and drive continuous improvement across SAP S/4HANA and ECC platforms. Responsibilities • Configure and customize SAP MM and PP modules to meet business requirements. • Design and implement solutions for material requirements planning (MRP), production order processing, detailed scheduling and related master data. • Integrate MM/PP with other SAP modules such as SD, FI, CO, and QM. • Analyze current business processes and identify opportunities for automation and efficiency. • Collaborate with stakeholders to define functional specifications and translate them into SAP solutions. • Develop and execute unit, integration, and user acceptance testing (UAT). • Create and maintain documentation for configuration, processes, and training materials. • Provide end-user support and troubleshooting for MM/PP-related issues. • Conduct training sessions and workshops to enhance user proficiency. • Participate in SAP implementation and upgrade projects, including S/4HANA migrations. • Coordinate with external partners and consultants when necessary. • Manage and implement change requests. • Travel: approximately 10% • Perform other duties as assigned. Qualifications EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE: • Bachelor's degree in Information Systems, Engineering, Supply Chain, or related field. • 3-5 years of hands-on experience with SAP MM and PP modules. • Experience with Make-to-Order and Make-to-Stock processes. • Familiarity with Manufacturing Execution Systems, Product Lifecyle Management, and integration tools (e.g., CPI-DS, SDI). • Knowledge and experience of Material Characteristic Class configuration and related procedures. • Experience with ABAP debugging and SQL. COMPETENCIES: • Strong functional knowledge of SAP MM/PP processes. • Ability to configure SAP modules and troubleshoot issues independently. • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills. • Ability to work in cross-functional teams and manage multiple priorities.
