Position Overview As a Senior Caregiver with Workwarp, you will be responsible for providing companionship, medical support, and personalized care to elderly individuals in their homes or assisted living facilities. This is a part-time and full-time position, offering flexible scheduling and competitive compensation. Key Responsibilities Provide companionship and emotional support to clients, engaging in activities such as conversation, games, and watching TV Assist clients with daily living tasks, including bathing, dressing, feeding, and mobility assistance Prepare meals and perform light housekeeping duties, such as laundry and cleaning Transport clients to medical appointments and social events Monitor clients' health and well-being, reporting any changes or concerns to management Develop and implement personalized care plans, in collaboration with clients and their families Maintain accurate records of client care and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Requirements and Qualifications To be successful as a Senior Caregiver with Workwarp, you will need: To be at least 18 years of age A verifiable contact number and legitimate Social Security Number The ability to pass a general experience evaluation and background check Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Compassion, empathy, and kindness, with a genuine passion for helping others Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing client needs Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications and experience are preferred: Previous experience in caregiving, healthcare, or a related field Certification in caregiving, such as Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) or Home Health Aide (HHA) Knowledge of elderly care and support services, including medical conditions and treatment options Experience working with clients with dementia, Alzheimer's disease, or other special needs Skills and Competencies To excel as a Senior Caregiver with Workwarp, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build trust and rapport with clients and families Empathy, compassion, and kindness, with a genuine passion for helping others Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible schedule and willingness to adapt to changing client needs Basic knowledge of caregiving techniques, including mobility assistance, bathing, and feeding Ability to maintain accurate records and communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At Workwarp, we are committed to supporting the growth and development of our caregivers.
