About the Role We're seeking a Senior iOS Engineer to join our Lead Mobile team, where you'll play a critical role in shaping the future of our guest-facing mobile applications. As a Senior iOS Engineer, you'll be responsible for developing high-quality, scalable, and maintainable iOS applications that delight our guests and drive business success. Key Responsibilities • Design, develop, and maintain high-quality iOS applications that meet our guests' evolving needs • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product and Design, to drive the product vision and roadmap • Establish and maintain best practices for iOS development, ensuring our codebase is efficient, scalable, and maintainable • Investigate and adopt new technologies and trends in the retail and mobile space • Work closely with the team to identify and prioritize technical debt, and develop strategies to address it • Participate in code reviews, ensuring our codebase meets our high standards for quality and maintainability • Develop and maintain technical documentation, ensuring that our knowledge and expertise are shared across the team Essential Qualifications • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field • 4+ years of experience in software development, with a focus on iOS development • 3+ years of experience developing iOS applications, with a strong understanding of Swift, SwiftUI, and UIKit • Experience with test-driven development and automated testing • Strong understanding of software architecture and design patterns • Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to debug complex issues • Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively in a team environment Preferred Qualifications • Experience with modular application architecture, frameworks, and build pipelines • Deep knowledge of Apple technologies, tools, and frameworks • Experience with SwiftUI and Combine • Experience with secure authentication using OAuth and authentication tokens • Experience with design and implementation of analytics solutions • Experience with Agile methodologies and iterative development What We Offer At Target, we're committed to creating a workplace that's inclusive, innovative, and empowering.
