This role ensures strategic alignment with OEMs, distributors, staffing partners, and service providers to optimize cost, compliance, and delivery performance. The SMVM drives governance, risk management, and relationship strategies that enable profitable growth and client satisfaction across public-sector and enterprise accounts. • ** ### **Key Responsibilities** • *Strategic Vendor Governance** • Develop and enforce vendor management policies for technology resale, staffing, and consulting engagements. • Segment vendors by category (OEMs, distributors, staffing firms, SaaS providers) and implement scorecards for performance, SLAs, and compliance. • Lead quarterly business reviews (QBRs) and annual portfolio planning for renewals, consolidations, and new partnerships. • *Sourcing & Contracting** • Manage RFP/RFI processes for hardware/software procurement and staff augmentation vendors. • Negotiate MSAs, SOWs, and pricing agreements with OEMs, distributors, and staffing partners to ensure competitive terms and risk mitigation. • Align vendor contracts with client commitments, especially for public-sector compliance and cybersecurity standards. • *Onboarding & Compliance** • Oversee onboarding for vendors, ensuring tax, insurance, data security, and regulatory requirements are met. • Maintain centralized vendor documentation and automate alerts for renewals and certifications. • Conduct risk assessments for financial stability, operational capacity, and information security posture. • *Performance & Relationship Management** • Monitor vendor SLAs for product delivery, staffing fulfillment, and consulting engagements. • Serve as escalation point for order delays, staffing gaps, and service issues; drive resolution with distributors and staffing firms. • Build strategic partnerships to unlock co-selling opportunities, training, and marketing development funds. • *Financial & Operational Oversight** • Collaborate with Finance/AP to ensure accurate invoicing, dispute resolution, and optimized payment terms. • Track spend, savings, and margin improvements across hardware/software resale and staffing engagements. • Forecast renewals and budget impacts to maintain service continuity. • *Technology & Automation** • Own vendor workflows in **Dynamics 365 Business Central**, **Microsoft 365/SharePoint**, and ATS systems for staffing. • Implement dashboards for KPIs (cost savings, SLA compliance, diversity spend, invoice aging) and automate alerts for contract milestones. • *Team Leadership** • Build and mentor a vendor management team; establish SOPs and training for procurement and staffing processes. • Foster cross-functional collaboration with Sales, Order Management, Delivery, and Finance teams. • ** ### **Qualifications** • 8–10+ years in vendor management, procurement, or partner operations within IT resale, staffing, or consulting environments. • Expertise negotiating MSAs/SOWs and managing OEM/distributor ecosystems (e.g., TD SYNNEX, Carahsoft) and staffing vendors. • Strong knowledge of public-sector procurement rules and supplier diversity programs. • Proficiency with **Dynamics 365 Business Central**, **Microsoft 365**, and ATS tools; Power BI/Power Automate a plus. • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Supply Chain, or related field; CPSM/CIPS preferred. • ** ### **KPIs** • Cost savings and margin improvement across resale and staffing categories. • SLA attainment for delivery and staffing fulfillment. • Compliance and risk metrics (audit readiness, renewal timeliness). • Vendor diversity and public-sector compliance adherence.
