Structural Analyst

Lockheed Martin is a leader in aerospace and defense systems, and they are seeking a Structural Analyst to join their Missiles and Fire Control team. The role involves implementing cutting-edge technologies, supporting the design of advanced hardware, and collaborating with various engineering disciplines throughout the product life cycle. Responsibilities Supporting conceptual and detailed design of advanced hardware through the full product life cycle via dynamics and structural analysis Collaborating with individuals from complementary disciplines within Engineering, Manufacturing, and Sub-Contracts organizations Applying research to the planning, development, and testing of new aerospace and related products Becoming proficient in dynamic/structural analysis, finite element analysis, structural/vibration testing, and test correlation Learning and becoming proficient in structural analysis tools Skills Pursuing a bachelor's degree with 0-2 years of post-grad, relevant experience or a master's degree in mechanical engineering, aerospace engineering, or a similar major from an accredited college/university Experience performing Structural Finite Element Modeling/Analysis (FEM/FEA).
