Supply Chain Specialist (Remote from Eastern Europe)

We're seeking for an enthusiastic Supply Specialist (Amazon Store Operations). Daily Responsibilities: Monitor Purchase Orders: • Track the status of purchase orders, ensuring accurate records of what has been shipped, arrived, and correctly located within the warehouse. • Verify the number of units received against purchase orders and identify any discrepancies. • Monitor lead times to optimize order planning and improve efficiency. • Check and validate invoices for accuracy, including item pricing and quantities. • Calculate and update shipping prices based on system data and provided invoices, ensuring cost-effectiveness. • Conduct a weekly review of inventory levels and plan future orders to ensure that stock levels are sufficient and avoid stockouts. Monitor Sales and Inventory Health: • Conduct weekly reviews of stock levels to ensure inventory is healthy and aligned with sales forecasts. • Regularly check the Capacity Monitor to ensure the storage utilization ratio remains within the acceptable norm and avoid extra fees. • Plan and execute new purchase orders based on sales performance and projections. • Monitor A, B, and C listings, adjusting products and sales strategies to enhance performance and profitability. Expense and Cost Analysis: • Analyze and compare the pricing differences of deliveries, identifying areas for potential savings. • Monitor storage fees in Amazon FBA and AWD, ensuring expenses are minimized where possible. • Track surcharges and other expenses, identifying opportunities to optimize costs. • Implement strategies to reduce expenses, including negotiating better rates with suppliers or adjusting order volumes. Collaboration and Manufacturer Relations: • Maintain continuous communication with manufacturers to ensure the smooth management of supply chains. • Develop and maintain a comprehensive database of all related products, ensuring that product information is accurate and up to date. • Regularly update and share information within the company to keep all relevant departments informed and aligned. This role requires strong organizational skills, data analysis proficiency, and a focus on continuous improvement to ensure efficient operations and cost optimization. Required Skills and Experience: • Ecommerce Knowledge: Good understanding of ecommerce platforms, especially Amazon. • Research Skills: Analytical skills for market research and product scanning. • Negotiation Skills: Ability to negotiate effectively with suppliers and manage logistics. • Marketing Knowledge: Understanding of marketing strategies for product differentiation. • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills. • Educational Background: A degree in business, marketing, or a related field is preferred.
