Technical Project Manager, Data Engineering

Remote Full-time
About us: Spring & Bond is a digital media agency and consultancy specializing in helping pharmaceutical and medical device manufacturers create robust, omnichannel media strategies for both healthcare professionals (HCPs) and consumer audiences. We emphasize transparency and client empowerment through comprehensive services, including customer journey planning, media strategy and activation, technology evaluation, in-house capability development, and training. What You'll Do: We are seeking a highly organized and proactive Technical Project Manager to support our Data Engineering function. This role will serve as the connective point between internal teams and external data vendors, ensuring timely, accurate, and consistent delivery of campaign data. The ideal candidate brings a balance of technical understanding and clear communication, thrives in a fast-paced, detail-oriented environment, and can translate complex information into actionable insights for both technical and non-technical stakeholders. Experience in pharmaceutical or HCP media environments is strongly preferred. Your Responsibilities: • Manage relationships with data vendors, including kickoff meetings, scheduling, documentation, and ongoing communication. • Coordinate all aspects of vendor data delivery, proactively tracking timelines, late or missing data, and format changes. • Maintain organized records of vendor documentation, communications, and data assets to ensure transparency and continuity. • Partner with Client Service to align on expected data deliveries, flag mismatches, and communicate campaign-related updates that may impact reporting. • Collaborate with Business Intelligence to track and communicate data restatements or changes affecting client deliverables. • Lead recurring internal and external status meetings to share updates, align priorities, and identify risks. • Support creation and maintenance of internal documentation and processes that improve data delivery efficiency and accuracy. • Monitor and track all client data use and information agreements to ensure compliance and accessibility. • Anticipate potential workflow or delivery issues and drive proactive resolution across teams and vendors. • Contribute to ongoing process improvements within the Data Engineering team and help establish consistent standards for vendor management and communication. Your Qualifications: • 5+ years of experience in technical project management, operations, or data coordination, ideally within pharma or healthcare media. • Strong understanding of media data workflows, vendor management, and campaign reporting processes. • Exceptional organization and communication skills — able to translate complex data topics into simple, actionable summaries. • Proven ability to manage multiple vendors, timelines, and projects simultaneously with strong attention to detail. • Experience with Asana, Jira, or comparable project management tools. • Comfort navigating technical discussions. • Demonstrated success in cross-functional coordination, particularly between technical and client-facing teams. Bonus Points: • Experience working with HCP or DTC data in a pharmaceutical marketing context. • Familiarity with data structures, schemas, and delivery formats • Familiarity with data governance, including FIAs and DUAs. • PMP or Agile certification is a plus. Benefits: • Remote-first team environment • Coverage for medical, dental, and vision insurance for you and your dependents • Disability insurance plan • Matching 401K • Parental leave • Other fun health & wellness perks Spring & Bond is an equal opportunity employer. All applicants will be considered for employment without attention to race, color, religion, sex, sexual orientation, gender identity, national origin, veteran or disability status. Spring & Bond is a woman-owned business. Not everyone will match the above qualifications 100%. If your experiences don’t perfectly align, but you think you’d be a great addition to our team, we’d still love to hear from you. Apply tot his job
