Creating and maintaining accurate spreadsheets to support business operations and decision-making. Entering and updating information into relevant databases, ensuring data integrity and consistency. Ensuring data is backed up regularly to prevent loss and maintain business continuity. Informing relevant parties regarding errors encountered during data entry, and collaborating with them to resolve issues promptly. Storing hard copies of data in an organized and secure manner to optimize retrieval and minimize the risk of data loss. Handling additional duties and responsibilities as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt to changing business needs. Essential Qualifications and Skills To succeed in this role, you'll need: A high school diploma or equivalent, providing a foundation for further learning and development. At least 1 year of experience in a relevant field, such as data entry, administration, or customer service, demonstrating your ability to work with data and interact with stakeholders. A good command of English, both written and verbal, to effectively communicate with employees, customers, and other stakeholders. Excellent knowledge of MS Office, particularly Word and Excel, to create and manage spreadsheets, documents, and other data-related tasks. Strong interpersonal and communication skills, enabling you to build rapport with employees, customers, and other stakeholders, and to communicate complex information in a clear and concise manner. The ability to concentrate for lengthy periods and perform accurately with adequate speed, demonstrating your attention to detail and commitment to quality. Proficient touch-typing skills, allowing you to enter data efficiently and accurately. Preferred Qualifications and Skills While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable: Experience with database management systems and data analysis tools, which can be discussed and developed during the interview process. Familiarity with data validation and data quality control processes, ensuring the accuracy and integrity of our databases.
